Important indexing note

The module monitors status, prioritizes inspections and helps identify technical causes. Google always makes the final indexing decision; no module can guarantee that an ordinary catalog page will enter the index.

The optional Google Indexing API switch should only be used for officially supported JobPosting and BroadcastEvent pages. Ordinary catalog monitoring uses the safe read-only URL Inspection flow. We recommend a backup and staging check before production deployment.

No. Google makes the indexing decision. The module reports the indexed-version state, technical signals and URLs that need attention.

What is required on the Google side?

A Google Cloud project with Search Console API, a Service Account JSON key and access to the website property in Search Console.

How is the API quota handled?

The queue and daily counter are designed around the standard URL Inspection limit of up to 2,000 requests per day. Cron keeps processing stable.

Can you configure everything for me?

Yes. The turnkey option includes installation, Google Cloud, Search Console, cron and the first test inspection.
